These book cover designs are for The Stranger by Albert Camus and A God in Ruins by Kate Atkinson. The Stranger features scratchy drawings of multiple heads to capture themes of existentialism, isolation, and detachment. The cover is simple yet full of texture with a black and red pallet that reflects the book's dark and contemplative tone. A God in Ruins reflects themes of war, loss, and nostalgia, with led typeset letters toppling over as they spell out the title. As well, the red bird seen flying is a motif representing the main character. Each book features the title, author, publisher, and description.
